Who we are

The Wild Blueprint is operated by Jiří Poláček ("we", "us"), the data controller for the personal data described below. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@thewildblueprint.com. Governing law: Czech Republic (EU); we process personal data in line with the EU GDPR.

What we collect and why

1. Your email address (newsletter). When you subscribe, we collect your email address to send you new Blueprints and occasional updates. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

2. Server logs (security & basic analytics). Our web server records standard technical logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser type — used only to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, which Blueprints people read. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site. We use no third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

• Email delivery: beehiiv, Inc., our newsletter provider. Your email is stored and sent through

beehiiv, based in the United States; by subscribing, your email is transferred and processed there under beehiiv's terms and privacy policy.

• We do not sell or rent your data and do not share it beyond the processors needed to run the service.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own — no advertising, no analytics, no cross-site tracking cookies. The newsletter signup form on this site is our own, and submits directly to our server; your browser does not load any beehiiv script or cookie when you sign up here. (If we ever switch the signup form to an embedded beehiiv widget instead, that widget may set its own cookies — we'll update this notice first.)

How long we keep it

• Email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Server logs: rotated automatically by file size, not by a fixed calendar date — the server keeps only

the most recent rotated log files and discards older ones. In practice this bounds how much history exists, though the exact number of days it covers depends on how much traffic the site gets.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To exercise any other right, email hello@thewildblueprint.com — we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Material changes affecting subscribers will be announced by email.
